Ciudad Deportiva Sur is the municipal sports park on the south side of Ciudad Real, run by the Patronato Municipal de Deportes on Calle Álvar Gómez. Padel is the headline draw: seven glass courts in all, with three open-air and four under cover, so you can book sheltered play when the weather turns. The same complex has a full-size artificial-grass football pitch and two artificial-grass tennis courts. It sits outside the city centre but stays busy, and Google reviewers often mention fair prices, friendly staff, online booking that works, and padel tournaments with a good atmosphere for juniors. Sand on the covered courts has drawn occasional maintenance comments, yet most players still rate the courts highly. Court hire and padel courses are handled through ciudadrealdeporte.es, the patronato's booking and activities portal.
Facilities
Public court rental at municipal rates through ciudadrealdeporte.es (virtual office, price list and facility regulations on the site). Covered and uncovered padel slots, with lighting, at economical tariffs compared with private clubs. Padél courses for all levels — details on the ciudadrealdeporte.es courses section. Phone booking and enquiries via 926 22 13 50 or patronato@patronato.ayto-ciudadreal.es. Occasional padel tournaments organised at the centre.

Excellent facilities. The padel courts are very good. Highly recommended. And the football pitch is excellent.
It's good for the location, being outside the city center complex.
I went to watch a youth team match and they charged me €5. To my surprise, I found out I could watch the match from outside and would have saved the money. I also had to get coffee outside because the cafeteria wasn't open.
Easy-to-use website for booking spaces. The sports facilities are more than acceptable. The paddle tennis courts are good, although they need some maintenance. The sand is a bit more spread out, less crowded... especially the covered ones. Overall, the service is quite good value for money.
Excellent facilities for padel tennis and soccer. There are always people there, and the managers (all of them) are very friendly. It's clean, and there are usually free courts for practice. The prices are very affordable, both indoor and outdoor, with or without lights. You can book online.
