This 200X100 Paper S.L. club is pathetic. They have a rented functional training area within the same complex, where I used to train, and they were constantly complaining. 1. They said the music was too loud "for their taste." The receptionist came in and stopped my workout. 2. Another day, a guy who was supposedly the manager or supervisor of the paper club did the same thing; he just walked into the area and stopped my workout without any qualms. 3. The same guy did the same thing a second time and told me I was making too much noise when I dropped the barbell, asking if I could put it down "carefully" so as not to disturb them. 4. And that was the last straw: they did the same thing again. This time, the manager came in and told me to stop "throwing the barbell down so hard that I was disturbing the other customers." I tell him they also make a lot of noise with the rackets, the balls hitting the ground, and the shouting, but that I understand it's just paper and that's how they train. I tell him to understand that this is functional training and that's how they train, and that you can't put a silencer on the bar, and that he should let me finish my workout. The guy leaves, and after a while, another guy I don't know at all comes up and tells me he owns the whole place and the "paper club," and that I should stop making noise, especially in worse ways. He criticizes me for the noise from the bar and the music. I ask him to let me finish my workout and that we can talk about it later. He threatens that if I don't stop making noise right then, he'll talk to the owner of the functional training facility. As a threat, I tell him to talk to whoever he wants. I finished my workout and got a message from the owner of the functional training facility that said: "Well, you've crossed the owner's path, and he didn't like your attitude at all. I'm really sorry, but you can't come back, man. You messed with the wrong person. Sorry, I'll give you a refund for this month." Basically, they're kicking me out for going there to work out, which is what people go there for. If you don't want the noise of bars, dumbbells, music, etc., don't have it in your facility. But don't treat someone who goes there to train and pays a fee like everyone else like a criminal. The way I was treated was appalling. Appalling treatment from the manager and the owner, who clearly doesn't know anything about his business. He's there for one thing: to make a quick buck at the end of the month. And the receptionist, who's the one whispering in their ear to come and ruin the workout for those of us in that part of the facility. If I were you, I would go train at another padel club, because there are better ones and the treatment is more humane.
Great slopes! You can park right at the entrance; there's always room. The slopes are well maintained, and I think you can now book online or through Playtomic.io!
**Information for Management:** I would like to bring to your attention the behavior of one of the CrossFit instructors located near the main court. On several occasions, he has displayed an inappropriate attitude towards court users, reprimanding us for common actions during the game, such as accidentally hitting the glass, touching it with our rackets, or dropping balls. I believe this is unfair, as we have never complained about the loud music during his classes, the constant flow of people running alongside the court, or the placement of items like nets or gym equipment in the hallway. We believe that the ideal solution would be to foster respect and a positive environment among all users of the center. A little empathy and courtesy from everyone would contribute to a better atmosphere for sharing the facilities. Thank you for your attention!
A great place to play padel in the Sierra de Madrid area. Facilities in good condition.
