Membership & Pricing
Padel Derio Club, also marketed as Seminario Padel Club Derio, occupies the former seminary building beside Bilbao airport, about ten minutes from the city centre. It is one of the older padel venues in Bizkaia and runs ten courts with a mix of wall and glass layouts, so beginners and more experienced players can pick a surface that suits them. The padelderio.com domain currently shows a hosting placeholder, but the active site seminariopadelclubderio.com confirms Playtomic booking, year-round opening from 7:00 to 01:00, and a busy academy programme. The club pitches itself as affordable padel near Bilbao, with weekday midday rates from three euros on wall courts.
Facilities
All court hire goes through Playtomic. The club is open every day of the year from 7:00 to 01:00. Wall-court hire starts at three euros and glass courts at three-fifty euros during weekday low-demand hours (7:00-16:00); evening and weekend peak slots run up to eight euros. The BONO 50 wallet gives 55 euros of credit for a 50-euro purchase. Adult and junior academies cost 49.90 euros per month for one weekly hour in groups of up to four. Free beginner taster classes are advertised periodically. Team recruitment runs ahead of each league season.

Courts look a bit tired and changing rooms in an outside cabin. Good price.
Pleasant atmosphere.
We used to have a pintxo before the matches, but then they stopped serving them, and honestly, it really bothered me. I used to go on Wednesdays with my friends, but given how they treated us and the faces they gave us, we stopped going this year. The other day I went back, this time with my husband, and it was a really pleasant surprise to see they had pintxos again. We were able to have a proper breakfast. I especially want to thank the young man who serves us for his kindness and attention.
Everything is awful. It's cheaper than others, but the difference doesn't justify its shortcomings. As a final calamity, the last three times I've been there, the shower water in the "barracks" has been cold. There's no management, and if there is, they don't seem to care about providing even a minimally decent service to users. And the slopes... ugh! ...They even have leaks!
Some of the courts are in terrible condition; you can't tell which way the ball is going to bounce, the fence is dented so you practically need a fortune teller to interpret the rebound. The changing rooms are a makeshift construction shed. With nearby clubs offering similar prices and good courts, it's not worth it. Oh, and the owners are completely unresponsive.
