PADELBAI is a large indoor padel centre in Derio, Bizkaia, positioned as one of the main padel destinations in the Bilbao metropolitan area. The club runs 21 glass-walled indoor courts under one roof, split into 18 standard doubles lanes and three individual practice courts for drilling technique without a full four. Booking is handled through the club website and mobile app, with open-match listings for players who arrive without a fixed partner. The padel school covers children, adults, competition groups and private lessons, and coaches can work in English when needed, which helps visitors and expats around Bilbao. Beyond sport, the site works as a full leisure hub: cafeteria, padel shop, reception desk, tournaments through the year and a partnership with Infinitum Corpore for physiotherapy, personal training and nutrition support. A BH Fitness gym on site lets members add strength, cardio and functional work between sessions on court.
Facilities
Sociobai monthly membership is 50 euros, with gym access available as a 15-euro add-on. Sociobai familial costs 90 euros per month, with gym add-on at 25 euros for the household. GYMbai-only membership is 27 euros per month for gym use without padel benefits. Non-members can hire courts at rates that vary by time slot; check the booking platform for current prices. The padel school lists separate tariffs for kids, adults, competition squads and private lessons on the Escuela pages. Tournament entry, Americanos and club championships run through the season. WhatsApp and the app are commonly used for quick booking and coaching enquiries.

Booked 3 days of trainings in this padel club by WhatsApp, response was very quick and professional (other padel clubs responded slowly). We asked for a coach who could help us improve our game and speak English as our Spanish is still limited. We got Inigo as a coach and we are really happy and satisfied with the 4,5h we spent together on three different days. Inigo definitely helped us to improve our skills. So if you are travelling to Bilbao and you need a padel club that is equipped with a lot of courts and a coach that can speak English, then this is the place for you!
I've only been there once for a level test. The center is very nice; it's very spacious, with many courts and individual courts, which are great when you want to practice certain skills...although I haven't tried it, they have a bar and restaurant. There's a reception desk, and the person who helps you is very pleasant and helpful. I haven't been to the locker room yet or seen the entire center, but what I have seen I really liked. There's also a large parking lot and a shop. They hold tournaments, championships, and American games... The only thing I didn't like is the price of the individual courts, but for now, I think it's ideal, although I would have liked to have it closer to home.
A very, very basic gym. I go mainly because it's close to where I work. The truth is, they pay almost no attention to the gym; there are few machines, very little equipment, and some basic items like a press or several sizes of dumbbells are missing. It's not worth it unless it's conveniently located and you're happy with very little to do a very basic workout.
The club's facilities and courts are very good, probably among the best in the area, although the bar prices are high. However, the management of player levels leaves much to be desired. I've been trying to speak with the manager for over a week and still haven't received a call, despite having specifically requested one. They tell me they can't give me a level test because I already took one… a year and three months ago! Meanwhile, the only option they offer is to gradually improve my level by playing "fun" matches, where each match is worth barely 0.03 points. I would literally have to play about 30 just to reach my current level, which doesn't make much sense. The same thing happens in tournaments: they don't properly manage the levels, so competitiveness and fairness are sorely lacking. It's a shame, because the place has a lot of potential, but this makes it hard to take it seriously. From now on I will only play casual games with friends, and for anything more competitive and organized I will opt for other clubs where the level of the players is properly managed.
The slopes are in excellent condition, the changing rooms are great, parking is usually easy, and there's a huge cafeteria. Highly recommended.
