Membership & Pricing

Polideportivo La Manga del Mar Menor is the municipal sports hub run by the San Javier sports department on Gran Vía de la Manga at kilometre 12, postcode 30380, beside the Mar Menor strip. The La Manga microsite lists padel courts alongside a covered pavilion, football-8 pitch, gym, fitness room and summer programmes that include padel in school camps and local tournaments. Press coverage references three outdoor padel courts added as the beach-side offer grew next to the pavilion. Residents and holiday visitors book through the San Javier online sports account or by phone on 968 57 37 00 extension 5243 or 661 564 617. Court hire tariffs on the municipal price list show subsidised rates for registered users versus higher walk-in prices, with lighting supplements on outdoor courts. It is a public facility, not a private club like nearby Padel Dos Mares on Camino Dársena.

A tiny gym with very few, fairly outdated machines. Degraded equipment. The entry fee is extremely expensive (€5 for 1.5 hours). Sports promotion should be free, with quality, functional equipment that's frequently replaced, and reasonable public prices. In my opinion, the San Javier City Council fails in that regard. The pavilion needs better equipment, and it's time for a heated pool. It doesn't exist, nor is it expected, but La Manga deserves it... like so many other things and services that never arrive...

Small but very cozy gym. Perfect for me as a beginner. I was immediately welcomed warmly. Everyone helps each other and gives good tips. The monthly fees are incredibly affordable.

I want to thank Jorge for his attention and help this morning in sorting out a small change to my class schedule. You're super efficient and very kind. Thanks again... Laura.

The sole manager of the sports center cuts off the electricity at 9:50 p.m., even though the court was booked from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., displaying very rude behavior and even denying that other employees were leaving the electricity on until the agreed time. The manager wore glasses, was noticeably overweight, and had no white hair. He was about 1.60 meters tall. It left a very bad taste in my mouth, considering we were going to play a family paddle tennis match. That day was August 7, 2025.

Very limited facilities, the gym is very poor.
