Open Padel Center on Avenida del Marqués de la Vega de Armijo in Montilla has become the padel benchmark for southern Córdoba province, pulling players from the town itself and from Lucena, Puente Genil and the Montilla-Moriles wine country. The headline feature is a central court homologated to World Padel Tour standards—still uncommon in inland Andalusia—so advanced players get pro-grade turf, glass and lighting rather than a generic municipal cage. Four further indoor courts sit alongside it, all under cover for year-round play when summer heat or winter rain would shut down outdoor clubs. Google reviewers repeatedly rank the surfaces among the best they have tried in the province, not just in Montilla. The front desk is known for matching solo visitors into level-appropriate games if you explain your standard, which helps newcomers who do not yet have a fixed four. The vibe is social: post-match drinks in the bar, TVs showing padel or football, and a shop if you need balls or grips before warm-up. Booking runs through openpadelcenter.taykus.com with NFC and card payments on site. One tournament review flags rigid scheduling—worth clarifying availability in writing before you pay an entry fee—but day-to-day court hire and coaching get strong marks.
Facilities
Reserve courts online at openpadelcenter.taykus.com (Taykus booking from about 22 euros per slot). Phone +34 644 78 93 49 for enquiries. Pay-as-you-play court hire is the main model; no heavy membership language appears on listings. Coaching sessions book through the club with their rated instructor. Tournament entries happen periodically—confirm schedule flexibility before paying if you have fixed time constraints, based on mixed feedback on one event. The club helps place unpaired players into games when you state your level at reception. Card, debit and mobile NFC payments are accepted on site. Extended hours (roughly 09:00–14:00 and 16:30–23:00 daily) suit office workers and late-evening leagues.

The best courts in the area, without a doubt, and with a highly qualified instructor. It has a shop, a café, and a TV for watching padel or football matches. Highly recommended.
Good slopes, great atmosphere, easy booking. Everything was great.
One of the best clubs I've been to. The facilities are amazing, including a WPT court. The rest of the courts are average but in perfect condition. The bar is very nice, and the restrooms are amazing. If you want a place to enjoy quality, this is definitely the place for you. It's a shame it's far from home, otherwise I'd definitely be there for every game. Congratulations!
A really great club and excellent courts, honestly, not just in Montilla, but probably one of the best I've played on in Córdoba. The customer service is excellent, and I definitely recommend the club. If you come here, even if you don't know anyone, like I did, you tell them your skill level, and they'll try to find you a match that suits you. Hats off to them!
I sign up for a tournament, indicating the time slots I can't attend, and they tell me it's no problem, that the schedule will be adjusted. I go to the first match, pay the tournament fees, and when the second match comes around, they put me in the time slot I can't attend, with no way to change the schedule. In the end, you end up paying for a tournament to play a single match. Clearly, the point is that people sign up and pay, nothing else matters. I don't recommend it.
