Club Deportivo Esla sits on more than four hectares beside the Esla reservoir at Perilla de Castro, about fifteen minutes from Zamora on the N-631. Founded as a private leisure club in a wooded lakeside setting, it mixes sport with summer social life: pool days, open-air cinema, barbecue events and boat access when water levels allow. Padel has grown quickly here — two courts, one covered — alongside three tennis courts, basketball, mini-football pitches and what members call one of the best pools in Castilla y León. The annual Open de Pádel Memorial Francisco Prieto Castaño fills the calendar each late summer. Some facilities show their age, but the reservoir backdrop and family atmosphere keep locals and short-stay guests coming back.

private member’s club with access to fantastic sporting facilities including swimming pool, recreation area, gym, Padel, tennis, football, kids playground and boat jetty on the local reservoir. Great snacks, sandwiches and drinks at the chiringuito beside the pool. Highly recommended for locals and visitors alike
We're a wedding band. We played at this venue last Saturday, and the experience couldn't have been better. The venue is spacious, well-maintained, and has a perfect atmosphere for such a special day. The organization was impeccable, and the staff was attentive and always willing to help, which made everything run smoothly.
A beautiful, unique, and very secluded spot. It has plenty of sports facilities, a beach bar, and is right next to the reservoir… an amazing place to go with family, friends, or even on your own!
Excellent location for this private club, which welcomes members, even for non-annual stays. The only downside is that it's very old and poorly maintained. A real shame, as it was fabulous years ago. Bar service is barely available, although the attendants are very helpful. Excellent pool for both adults and children. Plenty of umbrellas and sun loungers.
