Membership & Pricing

The Polideportivo Antonio Gil Hernandez is Punta Umbría's main municipal sports complex, offering a range of facilities including four municipal padel courts alongside tennis, football, basketball and athletics facilities. Located on Calle Andévalo in this popular coastal town on the Huelva coast, the complex serves both residents and visitors to the Costa de la Luz. The padel courts are available for rent through the municipal booking application, with members receiving a fifty percent discount on all activities. The facility operates as both a polideportivo and gym, combining outdoor and indoor sports options. Accessibility is a priority, with wheelchair-accessible entrance and parking. Punta Umbría is a family-friendly seaside resort known for its beaches and fishing heritage, and the polideportivo plays a central role in the local sports scene. Recent reviews have highlighted maintenance concerns in some areas, so visitors may wish to check current court conditions when booking. The complex also hosts events including the annual Beach Rugby tournament in July.

It seems people want a golden field. The sports center delivers, and you're allowed to play with complete freedom. If it's not possible to play soccer on the natural grass field for maintenance reasons, you're two steps away from the artificial one. It's not that big a deal.

The state of maintenance is appalling. The athletics tracks are cracked. Trash on and around the padel courts. I don't know what the city council managers are looking at.

The new woman doesn't let children play or do anything; she'll kick you out if you're just playing peacefully and not doing anything.

One of the few places in the province where you can occasionally watch a rugby match. The Punta Umbría City Council has once again supported the development of sports in Huelva, and rugby in particular. Proof of this is the Beach Rugby tournament held every July in La Canaleta since 2010, organized by the Tartessos Regional Council.
