Membership & Pricing
Estadio Municipal de Tarancón is the main municipal sports complex for Tarancón in Cuenca province, managed by the Ayuntamiento sports service on Calle Antonio Machado. Beyond the natural-grass football pitch and athletics track, the site bundles tennis courts, five outdoor padel courts, basketball, frontón, artificial-turf multi-sport areas and an archery pavilion. Padel was added as a municipal offering with affordable public rates—historically around €3/h in daylight and €5/h under floodlights, with six-session bundles from €15–20. Booking is still largely in-person at the municipal swimming pool office rather than online, which frustrates some players who arrive on Saturdays when the desk is closed. The complex draws local clubs including Pádel Malena and hosts school sport; reviews note well-kept football turf and padel lanes but call for digital reservations and better upkeep on the outdoor basketball court.
Facilities
Padel hire via municipal sports service—contact deportes@tarancon.es or +34 969 320 211 (ext. 2087). Pool desk +34 969 327 010 for some bookings. Typical public rates cited: €3/h padel (daylight), €5/h (lights); six-session bono €15 daylight / €20 with lights. Stadium hours Mon–Fri 09:00–13:00 and 17:00–22:00, Sat 09:00–13:00 and 16:00–19:00, Sun 09:00–13:00. In-person booking at the pool office is currently the main route—plan ahead for weekend slots.

Good facilities, natural grass field.
Incredible stadium, you can play many sports there and it's still great in 2025, the benches look top-notch and the crowd is fantastic
The stadium is great, the track is fantastic for training, but I haven't been here in a while, and today I went to run on the track and I can't find the opening hours anywhere. The sun even washed them off, and they haven't put them back up. No one knows when they open or anything.
Today we tried to use the padel courts, which were completely empty (all five available), but it wasn't possible to book because the only way to do so is in person at the municipal swimming pool, which is closed on Saturday afternoons. This is a major limitation, especially when you wait until the last minute to book due to factors like the weather, which was unpredictable today. We miss having a digital platform to manage reservations more easily and conveniently. In 2025, this type of service should be standard in public facilities like this. Furthermore, the state of disrepair of the outdoor basketball court clearly demonstrates a lack of commitment to improving and maintaining public facilities (cracks in the floor, warped backboards, and inadequate metal nets). It has been like this for over a decade without any visible improvements. We believe the sports center has great potential and that with small improvements in management and maintenance, it could offer a better service to the community. Hopefully, initiatives will soon be launched to modernize and better care for these municipal facilities.
The facilities are well-maintained. The natural grass pitch was amazing. It has a gym, padel courts, a basketball court, and a futsal court.
