Membership & Pricing
Padel municipal Liencres is the Ayuntamiento de Piélagos municipal padel venue in Liencres, on the Cantabrian coast of Cantabria. It forms part of the local sports complex alongside a futsal pitch, an indoor pavilion, and other community facilities managed by the town council. The site is aimed at recreational players who want an affordable hourly booking rather than a private club membership. Courts sit in a covered building with wall construction, artificial grass, and lighting for evening play. Access is open to the public on payment of the municipal rate, with online reservation through the council’s sports booking system.
Facilities
Court hire at Padel municipal Liencres is booked by the hour through the Ayuntamiento de Piélagos reservation platform on pielagos.es, or via the Piélagos Deportes apps for Android and iOS. Payment is required before entry. Public rates are 10 euros per hour for padel, or 8 euros per hour for residents registered in Piélagos (empadronados). Prepaid bonos give a 25% discount loaded onto a digital wallet (bono-monedero). Cancellations made at least 24 hours ahead refund automatically to that wallet; same-day cancellations are only allowed in exceptional cases such as unplayable court or weather conditions. Private coaching on the courts is not allowed; lessons are reserved for the municipal Escuelas Deportivas.

The indoor padel court in Liencres is in pretty bad shape, with bare walls. It has two courts inside a rather unsightly building. This year they seem to have improved the courts a bit and installed LED lighting. Otherwise, maintenance is minimal. There are no changing rooms, restrooms, or even a water fountain. The price is €10 per hour, less with a pass, I believe.
Two old walled padel courts, no bathrooms or changing rooms; you have to go to the pavilion next door.
It's abandoned and derelict. The lights are literally falling down, the court fences are broken. There are no bathrooms or changing rooms. The courts are extremely slippery. A siren sounds every hour, and the door slams like a car crash. It's a disastrous place that looks abandoned and covered in graffiti.
Super easy to park. Grandstands for viewing.
A very spacious and good place, the area also has a futsal court next door and an indoor pavilion where basketball, gymnastics, futsal, badminton, and a skate park are practiced, managed by the Piélago town council, with good management.
