Membership & Pricing
Club de Tenis Jávea is a members' sports club on Avenida del Pla in Xàbia, set on a hillside site with views over the Costa Blanca coast. Four outdoor padel courts on artificial grass sit alongside eight clay tennis courts, a squash court, outdoor pool, gym, bar-restaurant and children's playground. Three padel courts use glass walls and one is a traditional wall court, all with LED floodlighting. The club works with Academia de Tenis Ferrer for coaching across tennis, padel and squash, and runs an active competition calendar including a spring padel league, a men's and women's padel tournament in June, and open matches through the Playtomic app. Non-members can book courts and enter many events without holding a share.
Facilities
Individual membership requires one share at 400 euros plus a quarterly fee of 58 euros; family membership needs two shares with a 79 euro quarterly fee covering spouse and children under twenty-five. Members pay 2.50 euros per padel player instead of ten, get gym and pool included, restaurant discount on orders over ten euros, ten annual pool guest passes at two euros each, and priority Playtomic booking. Transient weekly membership costs 80 euros per adult or 50 euros per child when two adult fees are paid, granting member court rates for prorogable one-week periods. I was looking for a place in the area to play squash and found this club, which has a court available. The facilities are very nice and spotless. The price is €10 per person, including the rental of rackets and balls, which is very convenient. Plus, the staff is very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely come back!
When finding out that the club was from David Ferrer we were expecting high quality courts. However, the clay courts were imbalanced (some areas are dry and some have clay that cannot be slid on). In addition, the person at the shop arrived much later than expected. All in all for a club that has David Ferrer’s name it was disappointing and did not meet my expectations.
Very tasty paella!
The Padel/Tennis is the typical Spanish run place. Loads of potential but run by terrible grumpy staff and management.
Simply beautiful
