What a great villa for large family reunion! Our family outgrew our own villa, so over recent years we have been renting in Javea instead for our regular get togethers. Palmview is the best yet by quite a margin and the whole family agree! We were a group of seventeen people of varying ages from 3 to 73 and everyone had plenty of space. The kids were spoilt for choice with entertainment from beach volleyball, football and pool and the heated swimming pool was the icing on the cake. Although initially we were worried about the location it was within walking distance of the main Arenal Beach and also a large Mercadona supermarket. It is also totally secluded with a stunning view of The Montgo mountain. Will we visit again?....probably!

If you are looking for a peaceful, private villa for a large group, be it family (any age group) or friends, then look no further than Villa Palmview - it has everything. We are an extremely large (and fussy!) family group and have never found a villa we wanted to rebook, let alone did we ever think we might find the holy grail. Chantal and Thom are extremely friendly and helpful hosts - available at the drop of a hat when we needed them (and this was only because we broke something!). Such helpful suggestions re: prebooking groceries so that we didn’t have the usual grind of spending our whole first afternoon in the supermarket. There is a Mercadona 2 mins drive (5 min walk) away as well as a brilliant general Chinese supermarket (2 mins walk) for all the bits and bobs you might have forgotten. Within the house, the rooms are loveky and (very importantly) of similar size and comfort so there was no squabbling. Each room had its own bathroom (powerful showers with plenty of hot water and each had a hairdryer) and almost all were en-suite. Beds were really comfy and almost all available in king/twin set up. Beautiful crisp linen. Ask for an extra pillow in advance if you need two though, and take an eye mask if you are affected by light as curtains not too thick in some rooms. Towels (and pool towels) are helpfully provided. The indoor living areas were fabulous - not that we used them much. Endless seating areas and Sunbeds outside and make sure you try out the cabanas early on as they are soooo comfortable. No shortage of dining chairs and a multitude of table set ups for when you’re eating en masse. There is so much here to do - they think of everything with regards to the outside living - there were even darts in the dart board, boules and pool toys. We were further delighted because the impeccably clean pool was actually heated (we’ve been trying in other villas for 14 years and whilst they say they’re heated, they never really have been) and as a result we’ve never used a pool as much - and you do need the heating in October - even if you were lucky like us to have blissful weather. Incidentally, there is sun all day on the pool terrace and just enough shade. The pool doesn’t really have much of a shallow end for little ones though - but it does have Roman steps. There are beach toys provided for little ones. The outside kitchen is brilliantly equipped. From the giant bbq, to the paella burner and pan, to the outdoor kitchen wine fridge and nespresso machine - we congregated in this magical communal area and three generations of our family (15-85) had the most wonderful and memorable holiday. Bring on next year - we’ve already rebooked! Finally, it’s 15 mins walk to La Fontana (quicker if you have long legs) and 20/25 walk to the old town and about 10/15 mins walk to the port. Taxis were necessary for a few of our group, but the rest of us went everywhere on foot. Two padel courts are also walkable and really affordable. Lots of room to store golf clubs - though playing golf turned out to be way too expensive for our group. Just an absolute gem of a place. I can’t recommend this place enough and thankyou so much for having us!

We spent a week here with a group of 28 friends, and it honestly couldn’t have been better. The house was super well taken care of – everything was clean, spacious, and really comfortable. You can tell the place is well maintained and thoughtfully set up. The pool was definitely one of the highlights – big, clean, and perfect for hanging out and cooling off together. We spent so much time there just relaxing and enjoying the sun. The view was stunning too, and all the facilities were exactly what we needed – nothing was missing. The location was spot on: peaceful and quiet, but still close to the beach, shops, and the center of Jávea. It’s a great base to explore the area or just chill out with friends. All in all, an unforgettable trip. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

We had a great stay here. The place was clean and everything we needed was there. The host were friendly and helpful when needed. It’s a quiet spot, which we really appreciated. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area. Perfect for big groups with privacy for each other. Luxurious rooms and seating area’s. We had paella delivered. Everything was available for cooking and drinking. Tip: late at night important to book taxi in advance. Other than that everything went smoothly 5/5
