For the past three months, my buddy and I have been playing once a week, and we're thrilled. The location is fantastic, the individual courts are great, and the price is attractive. We now have our own rackets, which is much better, but the ones provided are perfectly adequate for beginners. The only downside is the basic shower facilities; a simple bench or chair would be a nice touch.

In my opinion, the signage is very good (they point the way). Just walk in the direction of the arrow until you see another sign. The price is very reasonable, which makes up for the poor acoustics. If the other spot is also occupied, the echo of voices can be unintelligibly loud. We've never used the changing rooms or restrooms, so we have no idea about their condition.

I had arranged to play padel with a colleague at Padelwerk and was unfortunately quite disappointed. The entrance itself is a veritable labyrinth – it took us forever to find the court. The changing rooms, restrooms, and showers are also poorly signposted, making orientation unnecessarily difficult. There's no reception; everything is self-service – not exactly inviting. The hall itself is extremely minimalist, which severely limits comfort. The seats are hard and unpadded, which is quite uncomfortable after a game. While rackets and balls are included in the price, the equipment is worn out, and the grips are in desperate need of a change. Additionally, it was freezing cold in the hall – playing sports is simply no fun in such a frosty environment. Everything seems to have been hastily and carelessly thrown together, with the focus on profit rather than quality or the playing experience. The padel hype here seems to primarily benefit investors who want to make money as quickly as possible. Congratulations on the cash cow – but I certainly won't be back!
