Membership & Pricing
Bexley Padel Club is a joint venture between Bexley Lawn Tennis, Squash & Racketball Club and Bexley Cricket Club, with four outdoor floodlit padel courts at the cricket ground on Manor Way. Built with an LTA Quick Access Loan and opened as the first padel venue in the borough, the courts replaced underused tennis courts on the cricket site. The padel operation sits apart from the main tennis clubhouse on Parkhurst Road: bookings, membership and gate access all run through The Bexley Padel Club app, while showers and the fuller club bar remain at the tennis club. Courts are standard enclosed doubles courts with panoramic glass. Floodlights cannot be used on Sundays under local planning rules, so Sunday play is daylight only—especially relevant in winter. Heavy rain credits are handled manually through the club rather than automatic refunds.
Facilities
Full membership is oversubscribed with the waiting list closed. Peak Restricted membership costs £100 a year (£50 if you already hold full tennis or cricket club membership) and allows court booking 12 days ahead at member rates; full members book 15 days ahead. Off-Peak membership is £80 a year (£30 for tennis or cricket members), with booking up to 10 days ahead and member rates for weekday sessions up to 5pm. Membership fees are pro-rated to 31 March, the end of the membership year. You can register free on the app without joining: court hire is then £24 for 90 minutes plus a £5 guest fee per session, with only five days’ advance booking. Members pay £24 for 90 minutes (£6 per person when split four ways). All membership applications, court bookings and card payments are handled in The Bexley Padel Club app.
