Broughton Padel sits at Broughton & District Club on Whittingham Lane in Broughton, Preston (PR3 5DA), and opened its padel courts in October 2024. Two outdoor doubles courts with automatic LED floodlights serve members and pay-as-you-go visitors through Clubspark / the LTA Booker app — not Playtomic. The venue runs as a proper club section rather than a commercial warehouse: socials by player category, WhatsApp match-finding, box leagues for members, and LTA-accredited coaching via Wayne Scott Tennis & Padel. Tennis Lancashire named Broughton Club of the Year 2025 for both padel and tennis. Reviews highlight well-maintained courts, good parking, reasonable rates and a strong social atmosphere; as fully outdoor courts, sun and weather can affect play.
Facilities
Anyone can book pay-as-you-go after registering a free LTA Advantage account: non-members from about £20 per hour, members from about £15 per hour. Membership packages (capped at 200) include Adult Padel Member, add-ons for existing club or social members, Junior Member, and PAYG Plus (extends advance booking to 10 days vs 7 for standard PAYG). Full adult padel members get discounted courts, up to 21 days advance booking, box league access and club-level membership of Broughton & District Club. Socials and events are open to members and non-members by category (beginners through advanced).
