Padel X Club at The RAU sits on the Royal Agricultural University campus in Cirencester, turning old tennis courts and a classic pavilion into a Cotswolds padel and pickleball hub. There are three outdoor padel courts with LED floodlights, plus two pickleball courts, on the edge of town near the A417, A429, and about ten minutes from Kemble Station. The restored clubhouse has indoor and outdoor seating, so the place feels like a proper social club rather than a bare set of cages. Pay-and-play is open to everyone — students, locals, and visitors — with membership tiers if you want cheaper peak rates and community perks. What Three Words for finding the courts: kitten.courts.cried. Opening hours run weekdays 7am–10pm and weekends 8am–10pm for both guests and members.
Facilities
No membership required: book as a guest via Padel Mates (the club’s primary booking app). Membership adds discounted peak bookings, event access, and community perks. Padel X network tiers are Chiquita, Gancho, and Vamos (from about £20/month), with higher tiers unlocking more off-peak access, booking priority, and coaching/social discounts — exact club pricing is confirmed in the app. Guest court prices at The RAU: Super Off-Peak weekdays 7am–12pm £22; Off-Peak weekdays 12pm–5pm and weekends 6pm–10pm £27.50; Peak weekends 8am–6pm £38.50; Super Peak weekdays 5pm–10pm £44.
