Membership & Pricing

Padel Shift at Elkstone Studios sits in the Cotswolds countryside near Cheltenham (GL53 9PQ), part of a converted farmyard destination rather than a bare sports park. Two covered outdoor padel courts keep play going in typical British weather while you still get the open-air feel and views. The wider site includes Knead Bakery & Patisserie, Jesse Smith’s food hall, outdoor seating, a playground, wellness studios and co-working — handy for coffee and brunch after a match. Bookings, socials and coaching all run through the Nettla app. Padel Shift also operates other Cotswolds sites, but this listing is the Elkstone club. Contact hello@padelshift.com.

Facilities

No traditional membership: Elkstone is pay-and-play for everyone via the Nettla app (there is a small technology fee on transactions). An Elkstone loyalty scheme runs on the Squid app — scan on site after court bookings (once per day), fill the card, email a screenshot to hello@padelshift.com and receive £10 Nettla credit; stamps apply to court bookings only, not coaching. Private coaching and group activities are bookable in Nettla; Head of Padel Jack Hazlewood leads the programme with coaches for beginners through regulars. Junior camps run in school holidays. Memberships may arrive later — check the newsletter or site for updates.

We love playing padel here, it’s easily one of our favourite courts in Gloucestershire. The surroundings are beautiful, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. The only slight downside is that if you’re renting rackets, setting up the app can take a bit of time. That said, it’s great that the option is available. Overall, we can’t recommend this place enough!

Fantastic covered courts surrounded by beautiful countryside, the best of both, being able to play outside but rain won't stop play! A very welcoming and friendly community with easy access to the very BEST coaches for all levels. I cannot recommend Padel Shift highly enough.

Padel Shift at Elkstone is a friendly community for players of all abilities. The coaching team is excellent, for both group and individual coaching sessions.. Frequent social evenings are always well attended and great fun, usually accompanied by some good food and of course a game of Padel.

A beautiful setting to play padel.. I did my Intro to Padel in January and have been hooked ever since! Charlie (coach) is so patient and encouraging and it’s a very sociable place to play as well as having Knead to recharge after a game. Thoroughly recommend
