Norfolk Padel at New Barn, Waterhouse Farm near Fakenham (NR21 0LA) pitches itself as the UK's first purpose-built padel club — opened January 2025 on MJ Goodley Farms land as a rural diversification project, not a converted shed. Two Super Panoramic indoor courts sit in a climate-controlled hall with custom halo lighting (no corner floodlights), tuned acoustics and airflow; a third panoramic outdoor court looks out over proper Norfolk countryside. Players and visiting pros (including GB-ranked coaches) regularly call the courts among the best they have played on. Coaching includes a National Padel Champion on the team, matchplay with coach Tom, and guest clinic days — GB#1 / LTA#1 women's players were lined up for September 2026. Licensed bar, coffee and a golf simulator round out the visit. Book via Padel Mates (also on Nettla).
Facilities
Membership is currently on a waiting list. Published perks include roughly 25% off court hire and group coaching (including Matchplay and Americanos), surge-proof pricing, priority booking (around 14–18 days vs ~5 for non-members), free access to weekly or occasional members' group sessions, and member-only socials / guest coach days. Junior membership options exist for under-18s; some adult tiers note a six-month minimum. Non-members can still book courts and coaching on Padel Mates. Typical group sessions ~£15pp (members 25% off); adult tasters ~£5pp; kids intros ~£7.50pp; private coaching from ~£20pp in a four, up to £60 for 1-1 — all including court, racket and balls. Member discount only applies when the member is playing.

Went to matchplay class on a Friday morning players and coach really friendly and picked up some very good tips from coach Tom during session will definitely be returning for another session
Went as a group of 5 golfers, took a little while to set up due to updates to the system, but once up and running it was good fun and fairly realistic. Definitely worth a visit.
