Pace Padel is a dedicated padel club in Taverham, on the northwest edge of Norwich, built around the idea that the courts are only half the story. The venue sits within the Taverham Recreational Facilities site and shares a clubhouse with the local hockey club, so the social side of a session feels natural rather than bolted on. Purpose-built canopy indoor courts and an outdoor court give players options whatever the Norfolk weather is doing. Bookings run through the Padel Mates app, and non-members can book without signing up first. Coaching, ladies socials, leagues and club events sit alongside open court hire, which makes it easy for beginners and regulars to find a slot that fits. Reviews often mention the welcome from coaches and staff as much as the court quality itself.
Facilities
Membership is optional; anyone can book a court as a guest. Standard membership is £20 per month or £220 annually and includes a welcome pack, 20% off your share of court fees, and a 21-day advance booking window. Senior membership is £60 per month for individuals or £100 for couples (£600 / £1000 annually) and adds one 90-minute off-peak booking per day (Mon–Fri 8am–4pm), with a 14-day booking window and the same court discount. Junior membership for under-18s is £10 per month or £100 annually, with 20% off court fees and a 14-day booking window. Members also get access to leagues, club championships and members-only socials and tournaments.

Lucky enough to have been invited to check out these courts before they even officially opened. The entire area will be absolutely phenomenal when complete. At time of writing there was one indoor court and one outdoor court was finished. Being able to have 3 indoor courts will be a game changer for Pace Padel and sharing the clubhouse with the hockey club is a fantastic addition to help with bringing the social side of it together. Can’t wait to play here whenever we visit Norwich and see how this venue thrives!!! To help anyone who isn’t familiar with the area, parking for Pace Padel you need to go through the school car park to the left and then you’ll find the gravel parking area.
Pace Padel has become my second home. From the moment I went to my First Ladies Social coached by Paula I have felt really welcomed. Everyone is so friendly and I believe I have made some lifelong friends. With 3 indoor courts and one outdoor there’s plenty of opportunity to book either a court or book onto one of the many social or coaching courses. Love it!
First Session at Pace last night. Thank you for the great staff and a bit of coaching also for a couple of new players. Rackets were good quality and the courts looked and felt great.
I love Pace Padel. My Padel journey began in January. As a complete beginner I joined an intro to Padel and was hooked immediately. The team at Pace, Paula the coach through to the staff and the lovely ladies I have now met and see every week, I can not rate the place enough. The facilities are wonderful, but I think it's important to emphasise how professional and welcoming the team are down there.
Cruz was great, joined in when we had someone drop out and was great fun. Highly recommend! Especially cruz the legend!
