Powerleague Padel Manchester Nicholls sits just off Hyde Road in Ardwick and is one of the main places to play padel in central Manchester. The venue runs six covered courts so you can book rain or shine, and it sits within a larger Powerleague site that already has a busy football and netball scene. Padel here is built for pay-and-play: book a court through Playtomic, turn up with trainers and sportswear, and get stuck in. First-timers can join intro sessions with rackets and balls included, while more experienced players use coaching, open matches, and occasional tournaments to keep the standard climbing. The clubhouse covers the social side after a match, with food, drink, and changing rooms on site. Babolat is the kit partner, so you can rent or buy gear at the desk if you do not have your own yet.
Facilities
You do not need a membership to play padel at Powerleague Manchester Nicholls. Pay-and-play is the default: create a Playtomic account, book a court, and pay for the session. Standard booking opens up to seven days ahead. If you play often, Powerleague padel membership adds early court access (up to 14 days ahead) and other Playtomic perks — check current membership details in the Playtomic app or at the club. Open matches are a useful option when you do not have a full four: post or join a public game matched by skill level, and if the court does not fill the booking is cancelled with a refund. Intro sessions and coached lessons give structured entry points for beginners through advanced players without a long membership commitment.

Padel facilities are top quality. Plenty of courts. Staff on the desk are nice to deal with. Padel coaches here have been fantastic too
