Podington Padel sits at Greys Farm on Wymington Road (NN29 7HP), on the Bedfordshire–Northamptonshire border. Two indoor courts occupy a converted grain store, so play is all-weather with a modern, clean feel — air-con, tidy changing rooms, and a calm farm-edge setting rather than a city leisure block. The club runs through MATCHi for court hire and activities: intro sessions with BPCA coach Alfie Godfrey, private coaching with Matt Evans, evening mix-ins by level, Cardio Padel classes, Americano tournaments, and occasional community events that open the surrounding farmland for runs and padel tasters. Basic rackets and balls are free to try; higher-spec hire and Matchi TV video replay sit on court for players who want more. Staff welcome (Sally is named in reviews) keeps first visits straightforward.
Facilities
Pay-and-play via MATCHi — no membership required to book courts or activities. Coaching: Alfie (Tue evenings, BPCA Pro) and Matt (Mon/Wed daytime, Sat afternoons) offer private sessions shareable by up to four players. Group options include Intro to Padel (~£10), Cardio Padel (~£8), evening mix-ins (~£20 for 90 minutes), and tournaments. WhatsApp groups support Cardio and community event updates. Excellent place for Padel, clean and high quality courts.. nice atmosphere to play. We had a great time. We will definitely come again.
Great facilities! Came for a padel game inbetween university lectures. We were met by Sally who welcomed us and made us aware of all the facilities available. The space is lovely and clean and has a great atmosphere, equipped with a racket vending machine it’s definitely suitable for both beginners and professionals!! 😅
First time coming - Really enjoyed it. Easy to find , great facilities. Eqpt free to use ( can hire better racquets)
We had a lovely experience at Podington Paddle. The facilities are extremely clean and very nicely designed, which made the whole visit feel comfortable and well organised. The toilets were spotless, and it was especially thoughtful to see that the women’s facilities included pads and deodorant available if needed. Small details like this really show how much care and attention has gone into making visitors feel welcome.
