Northampton County Lawn Tennis Club (NCLTC) in Weston Favell hosts Northampton’s first padel court on a leafy three-acre tennis club site at 54b Church Way (NN3 3BX). One floodlit outdoor padel court sits alongside eight tennis courts and a clubhouse with licensed bar, veranda and kitchen. It feels more traditional club than warehouse padel box — social tennis evenings, Saturday socials from 1pm, and a beer festival in the calendar. Padel books on Playtomic with membership or pay-per-play options. Planning was submitted in September 2025 for two more padel courts (three total). Open roughly 8am–10pm; parking and changing/showers on site.
Facilities
Padel-only adult membership £200/year or £19.99/month; family padel £450 or £43.99/month — members play free if all four players are members (guest/missing player 1/4-court fee applies). Book up to 10 days ahead, max 3 bookings per member per week; four players must be added on Playtomic. Combined tennis & padel adult (26+) £271/year; young adult 19–25 £165; family tennis & padel £542; off-peak adult £190; community £155; juniors from £34–£68. Pay-per-play also on Playtomic. Great location has a relaxed holiday vibe new comers always welcomed
Brilliant night at the tennis social on Friday. A fun way to spend a couple of hours before a drink in the bar. No floodlight costs and some great tennis. Looking forward to the summer and being able to sit on the balcony in the sunshine as well!
Hidden gem. Attended a 60th birthday party. Great venue
Full of bullies and abusive behaviour ! I was assaulted twice in one year by two different people. Also reported it to the club and the police and the club decided to turn a blind eye. lots of "names" calling even from the staff working there. Totally unacceptable and against everything I believe tennis is meant to be.
Beautiful setting in Weston Favell Village, Northampton - friendly & welcoming environment that encourages new members to join in and play. The Club has an excellent lounge and bar area in which you can socialise after a game. Showers & toilets are also available. Tennis & Padel Tennis Players of all standards enjoy this wonderful facility - Tennis coaching is available if you want to improve. There are 4 Different court surfaces. This is the best & biggest Tennis club in the town and it is also very well organised. Great value for money.
