Membership & Pricing
Ace Padel Stoke at Elder Road in Cobridge is Stoke-on-Trent's first dedicated indoor padel club and the flagship of Ace Padel's growing UK network. Four indoor panoramic courts opened toward the end of 2025: three doubles plus one singles court for 1-vs-1 play. The venue pairs courts with a social club and beer garden so it works as a hub rather than a bare hire shed. Sister sites at Milton and other Ace locations (with Fenton and more coming) let regulars rotate. Reviews call the courts well kept but often flag pricing as steep compared with other local options. Long opening hours from 6am into late evening suit early risers and after-work sessions.
Facilities
No membership required for court hire. Book via the Playtomic app: find the Ace Padel Stoke club page, pick a slot, and pay. Cancel at least 24 hours ahead for a full refund. Coaching and kids sessions book through Playtomic Academy. Intro to padel sessions suit complete beginners; kids coaching uses games and movement for younger players. Daily mix-ins and socials help find partners. Ace Padel operates multiple clubs (Stoke/Cobridge, Milton, Lytham St Annes, Culcheth, with Fenton and others coming soon), so regulars can book across the network on the same app.

I found it a bit strange playing there. The court seemed smaller than usual, although maybe it was just because the court was red.
I love coming here for a game and have been back several times already. The courts are in fantastic condition, and it’s a great place to play. That said, I do have to admit it feels very expensive. It’s a difficult one because charging a bit more probably attracts people who are competitive and take the games seriously, which is definitely a positive. As it’s still fairly new and padel is growing in popularity, the pricing is understandable for now. Hopefully, as more facilities open in the area and competition increases, the prices will become a bit more affordable.
Way to expensive
