The Padel Club Wilmslow sits on the A34 Handforth Bypass in Cheshire and was the brand's original concept site. Four high-specification outdoor padel courts with performance-grade surfaces and sports LED lighting form the core of the venue, which grew from two courts after early demand proved the format worked. The club leans into a sport-and-social mix: dog-friendly grounds, a cafe and bar for coffee or drinks after matches, and a community atmosphere aimed at beginners through regular players. Court hire is open to everyone via the Playtomic app—no membership required—with taster sessions, social mixers, and coaching available for those who want structure. Free parking (four hours when registered on arrival), kit rental, and welcoming on-site staff make it a practical North West padel hub rather than a members-only club.
Facilities
You do not need a membership to book and play at Wilmslow. Courts are reserved through the Playtomic app. Regulars can join The Society, an annual £150 membership for this club that adds priority booking and discounts: 18 days' advance booking (versus standard windows), up to 18 active bookings, cancellation up to 24 hours before play, Society-only events, and 15% off off-peak court fees, retail, and clubhouse spend. Court fees are still paid separately when you book. Non-members can still book, join social mix sessions listed in Playtomic, or ask staff about the club WhatsApp group to find partners. Gift cards are also available for the venue.
