AIX AUC Tennis-Padel is the racket-sport section of the Aix Université Club, based at the Val de l'Arc sports complex on Avenue des Infirmeries in Aix-en-Provence. The site opened three lighted outdoor padel courts in 2017 alongside eight tennis courts — five on porous concrete and three on synthetic grass — all with evening lighting. Roughly 1,000 members practise here, split between tennis and padel, in a wooded setting beside the Torse river a few minutes from the city centre. The club became a standalone sports association in March 2023 and runs group lessons, holiday stages, private coaching and competitions year-round. The wider Val de l'Arc complex adds a gym, climbing walls, a weights room and a swimming pool, so families often combine a padel session with other activities on the same campus.
Facilities
Annual padel membership for 2026/27 starts at €227 for adults (plus mandatory FFT club licence at €33), with access daily 7:00–22:00 subject to availability. Couples pay from €197 per person; students aged 18–25 and off-peak members (weekday mornings and mid-afternoons) from €107. Under-18s without coaching start at €92 plus a €23 youth licence. Combined tennis and padel adult membership begins at €357 and includes three guest invitations. Children's padel school with 90 minutes weekly coaching starts at €277; a dual tennis-and-padel school package runs from €537. Non-members or tennis-only members can buy padel guest tickets at €10 each or €30 for three. Wednesday full-day youth programmes include 90 minutes of padel within a broader sports day.

The reception we had on the day of the opening is not the same while having spent almost a year there. My son is being called bad names by the coach, he is supposed to play for 1h30 but he ends up playing for 40min max because he is told to stay on the side while the girls play. Last week, he was almost hit on the heard by a player and the coach said well done( nice shot) to the player without paying any attention to him.i texted, called, left a message no reply and it still continued.i have a feeling the coach has a problem with black kids. Since my son started player tennis from the age of 7yrs ,this is his saddest year while playing tennis. I will keep posting what happens from now in the AUC tennis so that people will be aware of their attentions to my kid who is12 yrs now.
Very friendly club welcoming players and families from all walks of life. Very competent and friendly team of coaches that are exceptionally dedicated and involved.
