Country Club Aixois

Great club with many facilities for tennis and padel. I visited two times for the annual event held for a week i.e., credit Agricole open Aix en Provence. It is free of entry the event. With as many as three tribunes for public. We can reach by public transport either by bus 11/13. The schedule for events updated every day at 21:00h in social profiles. Some of the great players arrive in this tournament in anticipation of Roland Garros as practice. In 2023, I had privilege of watching Murray and Monfils. In 2024, Wawrinka had arrived. The event is held by Arunad Clement.

As my young son was involved in a selection process to become a ball collector for next year's Roland Garros, I was there for the afternoon but not to use/pay for/play on any of the various courts and areas on offer. It was raining on the day so stayed mainly inside watching my son, alongside another 200 hopeful young candidates and parents, go through the activities. Managed to pop out quickly for a nosey in-between showers and what I saw was very nice. Basically a tennis club with squash, paddle ball badminton, volleyball and health club activities on offer. My five stars is for the facilities I saw on offer, and the friendly staff providing coffee etc for the parents.

Excellent food. Petanque tournament on Tuesday evenings is worth viewing.
