Detailed Review: LB13 Padel Tennis Club in Allauch We recently discovered the LB13 Padel Tennis Club in Allauch, and what a pleasant surprise! As padel enthusiasts, we participated in the P25 tournament organized by the club, and we enjoyed the experience so much that we wanted to share a detailed and enthusiastic review. Located in an idyllic natural setting at Domaine de la Bauquière, on Avenue Jean Giono, this relatively new club (open since September 2023) combines a friendly atmosphere, quality facilities, and a passion for the sport. If you're looking for a place to play padel or tennis near Marseille, this is a must-visit. We wholeheartedly give it top marks for its welcoming atmosphere and organization. Accessibility is one of LB13's strong points. Nestled in the hills of Allauch, just fifteen minutes from Marseille by car, the club is easily accessible via the main roads. There's ample on-site parking, which is a real plus during events like the P25 tournament we attended. No stress about parking, and the wooded surroundings create a sense of tranquility right from the start. The facilities seem accessible for people with reduced mobility, with accessible pathways, although we didn't personally test this. The team, led by brothers Ludovic and Bastien (both state-certified coaches), is incredibly welcoming: they guided us from the moment we registered for the tournament, providing clear explanations and a constant smile. The facilities are modern and well-maintained, making for an optimal playing experience. The club boasts three padel courts, two of which are panoramic with a "World Padel Tour" surface that offers perfect bounce and incredible comfort – ideal for intense matches like those at the P25. We loved the quality of the court surface, which prevents slipping even after a long session. There are also three porous concrete tennis courts for those who want a change of pace, and a multi-sports area with synthetic turf for more recreational activities. The changing rooms and showers are clean and functional, with everything you need to freshen up after a game. A special mention goes to the on-site restaurant, which offers simple but tasty dishes (salads, grilled food, cold drinks) at reasonable prices – perfect for debriefing a match around a table on the terrace overlooking the courts. During our participation in the P25 tournament, the atmosphere was both electric and friendly. It was a well-organized event, with groups tailored to beginner/intermediate levels, attentive referees, and a schedule that ran like clockwork. We faced motivated local teams in a fair-play atmosphere where you can really feel the club's community spirit. The entertainment around the tournament (raffles, a small refreshment stand) added to the fun, and even though we didn't win, we had a memorable day. The club regularly organizes tournaments and events throughout the year, demonstrating their commitment to fostering the padel and tennis community. If you're a beginner, the padel school run by Bastien (formerly ranked 60th in France) is excellent: we saw dynamic group lessons for children and adults, as well as holiday camps. In addition to the sporting aspects, LB13 emphasizes relaxation and a friendly atmosphere. The natural setting, with its trees and Provençal tranquility, makes you forget you're so close to the city. Booking is incredibly easy via their app or website, and the prices are reasonable (padel court rental for 1.5 hours, annual memberships for regulars). No unnecessary frills, just pure sport and great encounters. The coaches, Ludovic for tennis and Bastien for padel, are passionate and skilled instructors – you can feel their experience and their desire to share their knowledge.

I wanted to take private paddleboarding lessons. I was given the contact information for an instructor: I sent a text message and he called after I didn't reply to the text. He said he'd call me back and never did… he doesn't need to work, but he should at least answer. Very disappointed.

A very pleasant place, the courts are new and well-equipped. The staff is very friendly. Between the restaurant and the sports fields, everything is there for a great afternoon! The private lessons are very effective and the staff are excellent teachers.
