Tennis Club d'Arcachon (TCA) sits at 7 Avenue du Parc among the pines of the Bassin d'Arcachon, one of the region's larger racket clubs. The site combines twenty tennis courts—clay and hard, four of them covered—with three padel pistes, two under cover for year-round play. There is also pickleball, a members' gym, and a clubhouse that fills up in summer. Catherine Lalanne runs padel coaching and tournament activity through Pad'L Arcachon. Visitors often mention the relaxed resort atmosphere: open padel slots by level, WhatsApp groups to find partners, and the Karren Pro-Shop trading on site through the high season. Whether you live locally or holiday on the coast, the TCA is set up for regular league tennis as much as casual padel bookings.
Facilities
Main club membership for 2025/26 opens from 1 September and runs to 31 August 2026. It includes free access to all tennis courts, three padel pistes, and pickleball every day of the year, plus two guest invitations annually, gym use, and partner discounts. A secondary membership suits players who hold their FFT licence elsewhere—full facility access without guest passes. Enrol online or at reception; full rates are on the Tarifs section of tennis-club-arcachon.com. Non-members pay hourly court hire. Reservations open up to two days ahead only: phone 07 85 20 35 47 year-round, or Premier Service online from September to June (July and August are phone-only). Five coaches deliver group and private tennis and padel lessons; holiday stages run in school breaks.

The atmosphere is friendly most of the time, there are plenty of courts, both clay and hard, and the bar is nice... and serves good Leffe on tap. The only major drawback is the lack of a restaurant worthy of a club of this standing, like the one at the golf course in the same town a few kilometers away. At the tennis court, in the summer there's a low-end snack bar - at lunchtime only - and in the evening, it's impossible to eat, just like the rest of the year.
A very nice tennis club for everyone. The only downside... the evening entertainment doesn't live up to the club's overall quality... we won't be returning to the restaurant, which isn't as lively as we expected and is expensive... A real shame.
A beautiful and large tennis and padel club. Choice of several types of surfaces. A welcoming clubhouse, and special mention goes to Sophie, who is incredibly kind, helpful, and has a contagious smile.
