Padel Sambre is a new covered padel club at the Centre Sadi Carnot sports hub in Ferrière-la-Grande, on the Maubeuge agglomeration in northern Hauts-de-France near the Belgian border. Founded by four local amateur players, it markets itself as the first covered padel facility in the Maubeuge area, with two courts under a curved membrane roof and an unusually high 10-metre ceiling for proper lob play. The club opened on 27 June 2026 after building permission and construction in Q2 2026. It targets beginners through competitors with planned double FFT and AFPadel affiliation for French rankings and Walloon interclub play. The Ligue Padel Sambre social league launches with free team registration and matches every fortnight. Google Maps lists a Bousignies-sur-Roc address on Grande Place; the club website places the courts at the Sadi Carnot pole in Ferrière-la-Grande, five minutes from Maubeuge.
Facilities
Pay-as-you-play costs 44 euros for a 90-minute court slot with no off-peak discount. A pack of 16 shareable credits costs 160 euros (10 euros per credit). Semester membership is 260 euros and includes one privileged 90-minute session plus two standard 90-minute sessions per week for six months. Annual membership is 500 euros on the same weekly pattern over twelve months. A fixed weekly slot for the full year costs 2,300 euros, aimed at groups and companies. Corporate wellbeing slots (Monday-Friday 17:00-21:30, 90 minutes weekly for 12 months) are also priced at 2,300 euros per slot per year.
