US Cagnes Tennis sits in the Parc des Sports Pierre Sauvaigo on Avenue Colonel Jeanpierre, a large municipal sports park in Cagnes-sur-Mer. The club is one of the bigger racket venues on the Nice coast, with twelve padel courts and a substantial tennis footprint across clay, artificial clay and GreenSet surfaces. Wheelchair tennis (paratennis) is also offered. The atmosphere leans family-friendly: children's schools start from age three, holiday stages run through the year, and the site hosts an annual women's tournament that draws rising competitive players. A restaurant operates on site. Padel court hours are narrower than tennis — mainly afternoons and evenings — but pricing is among the more accessible in the area, especially off-peak.
Facilities
Tennis club membership for adults is €297 per year (September to August) with unlimited court access, online reservations and FFT licence. Partners and under-25s pay €197; a six-month adult pass is €192. The family card (€152) lets parents play hard-court tennis with a child enrolled in school. Padel school runs Wednesday afternoons — one hour weekly at €276–277, or ninety minutes at €326–327 in groups of up to twelve. A competition-focused padel school on Saturday mornings (ages 11+, groups of four) is €376. Padel hire loyalty cards suit regular players who do not want full tennis membership. Great ladies tennis tournament here every year with some young players who often go on to be top players. Well run very professional and also a very good restaurant here. This year it was postponed in May 2020 and run in September which was great!
A very warm welcome. A health pass is required upon entry, but everything runs smoothly and with a smile! The sports instructors are fantastic, offering both group and individualized teaching methods. Each child, including the very youngest, is taken into account, respecting their individuality and abilities. Continuous encouragement and technical instruction are provided. As a result, progress is quickly noticeable for everyone. Beginners and experienced athletes alike seem to find what they're looking for. The atmosphere is sporty, friendly, and welcoming. Well done!
This is only my second lesson at this club, but I can already see that there are quite a few well-maintained courts with various surface types. The instructors and staff are great and always available to answer our questions. For those with children, everything is taken care of, even for the holidays. They just need to improve their social media communication... 😁 After a year, I have no complaints.
Booked by phone. Once there, no court was reserved. We were sent to a court... which wasn't available. Then we were sent to a dirt court... 10 minutes passed... the dirt was unplayable due to thawing. We slipped on the first ball. We moved to the next court over once it was free. In the end, half an hour of play for €20 with no refund—that's expensive for half an hour.
