Vence Tennis Padel Club (VTPC), known as the Pirates vençois, opened on 28 March 2022 on Chemin de la Plaine in Vence. It serves tennis and padel players from Vence and nearby Nice, Cagnes-sur-Mer and Saint-Laurent-du-Var. Year-round, the club runs adult group padel classes, private lessons, training sessions, holiday stages and tournaments. Padel coaching is led by Sébastien Corbelli. Competition and a family atmosphere sit side by side: you can book a social hit or enter FFT padel events. Past calendars list categories from P100 through P1000 for men and women. A clubhouse restaurant with a sunny terrace is open to players after matches.
Facilities
Padel court hire is billed by session length: €36 for one hour, €50 for 1h30 and €60 for two hours. The covered padel court is priced at €15 per person for 1h30 when four players share. Racket hire costs €3; padel balls are €8. Reservations are taken 48 hours ahead. The école de padel for ages 4 to 18 is €360 per year for 1h30 each week outside school holidays. Licences are €32 for adults and €12–20 for children. Holiday stages run every school break: a full-day week (tennis 10h–12h, padel 14h–16h, lunch and snack at the restaurant) is €230; a half-day padel stage (10h–12h) is €130. Our friends invited us to play tennis and have lunch. We had a great time doing both. The courts were well maintained and the food was very good. As was the service. We will be back.
