R'Padel Carpiquet opened in late 2024 on Rue du Poirier, a few minutes west of Caen in Normandy. The centre is padel-only: six brand-new indoor courts, including two panoramic lanes with holographic score projection from a connected watch onto the glass. A bar lounge and seminar space sit off the courts, so corporate groups and casual players can mix sport with food and drinks. Wide opening hours — until 23:00 on weekdays — suit lunch-break regulars and after-work leagues. The club runs ascending-descending tournaments and positions itself as the go-to padel address for the Caen agglomeration.
Facilities
Pay-and-play pricing per person: €6 for one hour at lunch (11:30–13:30 weekdays, excluding weekends), €9 for 90 minutes, €12 for two hours. Racket hire €2; balls €6 per box. We attended an event with the Chausson company, held at the Carpiquet paddleboarding complex, and we received an exceptionally warm welcome. The owners are lovely, friendly, and very professional. Special mention goes to Louka, the intern, who was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always attentive. The setting is ideal, the atmosphere friendly, and the organization top-notch. We had a fantastic evening, both on the courts and in the relaxation area. We highly recommend Carpiquet Paddleboarding for your events or simply for a great time with friends or colleagues. A must-visit!
I often play padel at RPadel in Carpiquet during our lunch break, and it's always a pleasure. The equipment is top-notch, the courts are immaculate and well-maintained. The staff is incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. They also have everything you need to grab a bite to eat on-site, perfect for enjoying a good game between work sessions. I highly recommend this center to anyone who wants to have a great time playing sports in a friendly atmosphere!
A great place to play padel! The courts are perfect, and the rental rackets are also good quality! The entrance to the parking lot can be daunting, but once you've passed through the door, you'll find a large, friendly bar area!
