Area Padel Caen is the Verson site of the Area Padel group — a purpose-built indoor complex that opened in October 2024 at 11 Rue des 4 Vents, on the edge of the Caen conurbation. Six full-black panoramic courts dominate the hall: two at seven metres headroom and four taller lanes with three metres between cages and nine-metre ceilings, homologated for P1000 tournaments. The brand pushes open access — no FFT licence needed to book a casual slot — and courts fill with everyone from after-work groups to corporate teams. A sister club on Deauville's seafront handles the group's coastal offer; Verson is the main growth hub with coaching staff, events and seminar space.

Facilities

No licence required for casual court hire — book via the Area Padel Caen app or area-padel.fr. Roughly €6 per player per hour off-peak (09:00–17:30) and €8 after 17:30; 90-minute slots common. Mon–Fri 10:00–23:00, Sat–Sun 09:00–20:00. Coaching with in-house staff (Léo Gendron, Daniel Sobol, Simon Capoen). Venue hire and catering for companies. Contact 07 56 41 68 09.

Fantastic! Thank you for the 1st anniversary party. It was great to be able to play and meet up over a buffet. Thank you to the whole team for your availability and dedication.

We were registered for a P25 padel tournament and had obtained our licenses from the club, but we were notified at 8:00 AM for a 9:00 AM tournament that we couldn't play. I drove from Alençon (1.5 hours) to play, and I even went there the day before to get a phone call explaining that my partner's tennis ranking didn't allow him to participate in the tournament. On Tennup, even though it was the same club that registered his license, he was listed as unranked, and we were able to register on the AREA PADEL app. Furthermore, being notified so late, less than an hour before the tournament, without any compensation or even an apology, is extremely unacceptable.

A fantastic experience when I came for a tournament to cheer on friends and my partner. The atmosphere is great, the place is clean, the courts are top-notch, and the staff is welcoming and always smiling! As an added bonus, they let me bring my dog in for a drink and to cheer everyone on 🥰 And they even gave my dog a tennis ball – what a happy dog! A very thoughtful touch! I highly recommend it 😉.

The best padel club, it's a beautiful place with a very warm welcome. You have a great time there without necessarily having to play. I recommend this place 100%. A little bonus for the black runs; you don't see them everywhere!

Absolutely top-notch: the welcome, the pitches, the tournaments, the clubhouse. Nothing to complain about, perfect!
