Galactic Padel is a purpose-built indoor padel centre at Contes in the Paillon valley behind Nice, on Route de la Pointe beside the RD 2204. The 1,800 square metre hall opened as the Alpes-Maritimes reference for year-round indoor play, with high ceilings, panoramic glass courts and a club-house that doubles as a social hub. Five indoor lanes include one singles court, three panoramic doubles and one full panoramic show court. Google reviewers call it the best indoor complex in the department, praising court quality, parking and the bar-restaurant, though a few note heating could be warmer on cold mornings.
Facilities
Book 90-minute slots through Playtomic or the club booking app. Licensed Galactic or CMT Contes members pay 8 euros per person in super off-peak (6am to 9am daily), 11 euros in off-peak weekday slots and 13 euros at peak times; non-members pay 10, 13 and 15 euros respectively. Hello, ⚠️ This review is not intended to scare away customers. On the contrary: Ladies and Gentlemen, come to Galactic! The courts are high quality, the ceiling height is impressive, the parking is convenient, and the bar/restaurant area is very pleasant. However, I would like to draw the management's attention to one specific point. At the end of our game, an employee (as he introduced himself) asked us to leave the court rather abruptly. It's true that we had exceeded our 15-minute time slot. We acknowledge that. However, there was no one after us, and the club was still open for two hours. We simply asked to finish our set—there were two games left. The response was categorical: "One last point and you're leaving." For your information, my partner and I (Fossati and Gerval, if you wish to check your customer database) have been booking every Thursday for several months now, for two hours of singles play between 8 pm and 10 pm or 9 pm and 11 pm. We are frustrated. We would have simply appreciated being able to finish our set, especially since no one was waiting behind us. Of course, if other players had arrived, we would have left the court immediately and without discussion. Being asked to leave when the court was going to remain empty is difficult to understand. Beyond the rules, it's primarily the manner in which it was handled that disappointed us. A little more flexibility and courtesy would have been appreciated. In 10 years of tennis and one year of padel, no club has ever asked me to leave a court to leave it unoccupied. It wouldn't have cost you anything to let us finish our set. However, you're losing customers who were spending €160 a month with you. Sincerely.
The most beautiful indoor padel complex in the Alpes-Maritimes department (06) (minimum). I play there regularly. Nice, simple, and good little restaurant. I recommend it 👍
Fantastic padel center! We've been coming to play as a family since it opened and we always have a great time. The courts are spotless, the atmosphere is amazing, and the staff is really friendly. The best place to play in the Alpes-Maritimes! 👌🎾
The best indoor center in the department. 4 courts, a one-on-one court, changing rooms, food service... Everything is there to share a great time playing padel with friends.
Superb facilities, nice restaurant and bar. Perhaps a little more heating could be improved.
