Membership & Pricing

Tennis Club de Guéthary has anchored this Basque coastal village since 1967, offering racket sport in a tree-lined setting on Chemin du Trinquet a few minutes from the beach. The club added two padel courts alongside its tennis quick and synthetic clay tracks, giving locals and holidaymakers a friendly alternative to the busier Biarritz clubs. It feels like a proper village club — small, sociable, and run by people who know your name — with P250 FFT padel tournaments on the calendar and a coaching team led by Pascale Etchemendy, a former French top-ten player. Padel fits the club's year-round social rhythm of mêlée doubles, school fêtes, and open tournaments rather than a standalone commercial operation.

Facilities

Annual membership with FFT licence included runs around €150 for adults, €245 for couples, €105 for students, or €130 for Guéthary associations (2022/23 season rates on site — confirm current year). An additional FFT padel licence costs about €20, or €32 for multiraquettes. Members pay a preferential padel rate of roughly €3 per 90 minutes including racket hire. Non-members should call 05 59 26 56 16 or email contact@tcguethary.com for guest court fees and availability — online booking is primarily for members, and published non-member padel rates vary by source.

Padel and pickelball courts are far too close to homes, which are exposed to significant noise pollution. FFT regulations prohibit padel playing within 100 meters of residents.
