TCH (Tennis Club Hendayais) is a long-established racket club founded in 1951 in the Hendaye Plage sports park on the Basque coast, minutes from the beach and the Spanish border at Irun. The club brands itself around three disciplines: tennis, padel, and seasonal beach tennis on the sands near Sokoburu. Padel runs year-round on two courts beside ten clay tennis lanes, with coaching, FFT competitions, and court hire through the French Ten'Up platform. The atmosphere is deliberately family-oriented: members praise the secretarial team, junior tennis pathways, and the way the club helps arrange matches. For visitors to the Pays Basque who want proper padel infrastructure without crossing into Spain, TCH is the main Hendaye address.
Facilities
Annual FFT licences cover tennis, padel, and beach tennis through the club's multi-racket offering, with 2026 enrolment forms published on tennisclubhendayais.fr. Members get match-making support, team training slots, and access to the junior tennis school plus padel coaching with dedicated pros. Non-members can still rent courts once they create a Ten'Up account. The club runs FFT-homologated tournaments across the calendar and maintains a large competitive base—more than 150 ranked players use the facilities. Adult group lessons, holiday stages, and team-championship pathways sit alongside casual hourly hire.

A well-equipped club, excellent secretarial service with Marie, match-making for members and children... it's very good and complete. Very good, well-maintained clay courts. I recommend it.
Complete tennis club. Competitive prices. Friendly, family-friendly atmosphere. A great place to introduce children to tennis. The teachers are really good and very involved. A 10!
Pleasant for tennis lovers, with its numerous courts available for rent, both as a member and as a stand-alone, as it's quite popular. The cafeteria has a terrace that could be improved by offering more breakfast or snack options. Close to the beaches and the bay promenade.
