Z5 Padel Istres is the Étang de l'Olivier branch of the Z5 padel chain, set on Route de la Cabane Noire on the edge of Istres. Six outdoor courts with latest-generation turf sit in open-but-sheltered bays — reviewers praise the airflow that keeps summer sessions comfortable without full indoor cover. The site is the smaller sibling to Z5 Aix (twelve courts including four covered lanes) and runs the same app-first booking model: reserve online up to twenty-one days ahead, pay before you play, no annual membership. Coaching with staff such as coach Hugo is available for beginners and improvers. Birthday parties and corporate events are a staple here. Free secured parking is a genuine plus in an area where court complexes often squeeze into industrial estates.
Facilities
No annual membership — pay-per-play only. Outdoor court rates for a ninety-minute match (four players): weekday off-peak (09:00–12:00 and 14:00–17:00) eight euros per player; weekday peak (12:00–14:00 and 17:00–23:00) and all weekend and public-holiday slots twelve euros per player. Prepaid credit packs are valid for outdoor courts at the Istres centre only. Covered-court pricing (fourteen euros per player) applies at Z5 Aix, not Istres. Cancel at least twenty-four hours before your slot via the app and call the club to confirm.

We had booked a padel court for Sunday, June 8th at 10:30 am. The reservation was confirmed twice by email. Upon arrival: the gate was closed. There was no information on the website or the booking app, no message, nothing to indicate that the complex would be closed that day. As a result, my friends made an hour's round trip for absolutely nothing. This is a complete lack of professionalism and respect for customers. Very disappointed by this negligence for an establishment of your size!
Friendly and accommodating managers, good balls, good pitches. The open but sheltered pitches are so much better than before. Clean changing rooms, no complaints. Perhaps the price of €10 during peak hours is a bit high.
Well located, clean, and everything you could need. Beautiful padel court, one drawback: no membership option. The staff is quite friendly and accommodating. A bonus is the off-peak rate! I recommend it.
First time for a birthday party. The result was fantastic. The entertainer took great care of the group. The covered but open-air playing areas are just ideal—not too hot, not too cold. ...I highly recommend it!
