Indeed, there's often space, like in a restaurant that only serves frozen food that's still frozen! The welcome is disdainful, rude, and dishonest. "There are no more balls, but it's not our fault, we're just renting them out for the manager." So we start looking for balls around the courts to be able to play!! It's like being in a restaurant where you're expected to cook your own meal. Keep walking and go to the complex, taking the time to book in advance. Now those are professionals. Goodbye.
I'm surprised by the negative review, but I don't doubt it. For our part, we received a fantastic welcome and were very friendly. The person took the time to explain the game to us (yes, we're beginners), and since there was no one after us, we played for over two hours. It's a sport that makes you want to come back, and the welcome has encouraged us to return as well. It just goes to show that everyone will form their own opinion. So, thank you.
If you're still wondering why there's never anyone there... three words: unpleasant, unprofessional, bitter. "It's time," the result? You pick up your balls and belongings in the pitch dark because they don't even bother to let you know they're turning off the spotlights. As for the reception... haughty, bordering on insolent responses, "I'm not the one in charge here," which apparently justifies treating "customers" this way. Move on; luckily, there are plenty of courts elsewhere.
I highly recommend Gentle Padel. The courts are brand new, the playing surface is excellent, and there's easy access and parking. Access via the adjoining gym is convenient and allows you to use the changing rooms and showers (a real plus).
