The Tennis and Padel Club du Bois d'Ars sits on a wooded hectare at Limonest, north-west of Lyon on Route du Bois d'Ars. Elie Rousset, a former pro ranked inside the French top fifty, took over in June 2023 and rebuilt the site around three floodlit outdoor padel courts laid in 2023 on Mondo XN Supercourt turf. The club keeps a village feel despite its tournament calendar: WhatsApp groups by level, a self-service racket kiosk beside the lanes, and a renovated clubhouse where families gather after school tennis. Three Green Set tennis courts share the forest clearing, with two lit for evening play. Members describe it as a green escape minutes from the metropolis, with padel and tennis competition teams climbing regional rankings.
Facilities
Padel court hire uses ticket bundles on Balle Jaune: one ticket covers ninety minutes per player, four tickets lock a full court, priced at twelve euros single, one hundred euros for ten, or three hundred eighty euros for fifty. Group lessons, private coaching, and occasional sessions are arranged with coach Albert via WhatsApp on +34 672 324 463. Adult tennis courses, children's school, holiday stages, and open tournaments run alongside padel. Evening padel slots after 6pm often need a fourth player; the club encourages filling incomplete groups through its community channels.

Great club and excellent atmosphere. Really enjoyable lessons with Florian. I highly recommend it!
Fantastic club! Top-notch facilities and exceptionally warm service!! Thank you to Elie and his entire team for this wonderful experience and their kindness.
Honestly, this club is fantastic. It has three perfectly maintained outdoor padel courts and three tennis courts (I don't personally use them). What makes this club special? The friendly atmosphere... The manager, Elie, is a lovely person who clearly values the human element! And the club is constantly growing (the indoor facilities have improved significantly in just one year, and the outdoor areas too). It's a real treat. So if you're looking for a friendly club (there are over 600 of us on a shared WhatsApp group for my padel level), you should definitely come here!
A wonderful revival for this club, nestled in the forest, offering tennis and padel with a racket/ball/court rental kiosk – you're completely self-sufficient! Elie has managed to create a welcoming atmosphere in this space through ongoing investments and events. Living just 500 meters away, it's like a Club Med ;) Congratulations and long live the Bois d'Ars Tennis Club!
5 stars without hesitation for the welcome, the friendliness, and the exceptional setting of the club. Elie has succeeded in breathing new life into this club, which it truly deserved!
