Tennis Club Montanay sits at the Stade Municipal on Rue des Échets, north of Lyon in the Rhône department. The club has grown from a traditional tennis base into a tennis-and-padel venue with outdoor and covered tennis courts plus two indoor padel courts. It is a community club rather than a commercial centre — members praise the easy access, the green-set indoor tennis surface, and coaching from staff including Thibault. Padel stages for different levels run alongside the tennis school. The complex hosts FFT competitions through the season, though tournament organisation has drawn mixed feedback from visiting teams.
Facilities
Court hire and membership are managed through Ten'Up (FFT). Non-member tennis court hire is around €16/hour for the indoor green-set court according to player reports — padel rates are listed on Ten'Up when booking. Very nice complex, outdoor and indoor courts, padel
Tournament organization with very poor management and communication skills. Huge disappointment upon arrival.
Great club and very easy to get to
Indoor green-set court used for an hour. Convenient, a bit pricey (€16/hour) but it does the job.
The club is great! I want to highlight the quality of Thibault's teaching and hospitality.
