Big Padel Bordeaux Mérignac occupies Decathlon Village at 5 Rue Hipparque, one of the flagship indoor padel halls in the Bordeaux metro. Nine courts rise under a nine-metre ceiling—among the highest in the region—giving comfortable lobs and airflow for serious play. A filmed central court supports events and tournaments. The franchise also runs Bergerac, but Mérignac is the volume site locals call a padel addict’s destination, with terrace drinks, a pro shop and a busy tournament calendar through the Big Padel app.

Facilities

Reserve only via the Big Padel app—no phone bookings for courts. Online FFT licence purchase is linked from the site. Adult and children’s coaching programmes run at the Mérignac academy; coach Jean-Thomas Pérou helped tennis converts transition in two sessions per a recent review. Join the Big Padel Social Club on Facebook to find fourth players, including a women-only group. Newsletter signup on merignac.bigpadel.fr for news. Phone 05 54 51 17 11 for general enquiries. Open 09:15–22:45 weekdays, Saturday until 19:45, Sunday 09:00–21:15.

Great experience with professional coach Jean Thomas Pérou who helped me transition from tennis in 2 lessons. Pleasant infrastructure.

One of the best padel spot in Bordeaux. For the padel addicts, definitely the place to be 😉

I discovered this padel club during a business trip last Monday evening. The complex and the courts are good. I especially appreciated the excellent welcome and helpfulness of the young man at the bar and cashier… that's not always the case.

Disappointment… the courts are great, the roof is high, the complex is nice, the restrooms are clean, and there's hot water in the shower, but the staff wasn't up to par that day! Our little mishap didn't exactly make us want to have a drink afterward! We arrived as a group of four for a 4:45 pm reservation on court 1: the court was occupied by a tournament final! We had to wait until the end of the match (when you start waiting, you never know how long it's going to take! In the end, we waited 15 minutes). Two young men took turns at the cashier. One initially told us, "We'll buy you a drink at the end" (but we came to play sports!), and the other, who was there at the end (but the first one was no longer there!), replied, "You only waited 5 minutes" (even though he hadn't seen it!) and charged us three full prices out of four, with a "You could at least say thank you!" In short, overbooking? And the staff present that day were rather unprofessional! Nothing serious!

Fantastic padel club! Top-quality facilities, welcoming and professional staff. A huge plus is the terrace, perfect for relaxing and having a drink after matches. A real pleasure every time!
