Domaine de Rocquevielle is the historic multi-sport campus of Girondins de Bordeaux Omnisports, spread over 20 hectares along Avenue Marcel Dassault in Mérignac's Aéroparc industrial zone near Bordeaux-Mérignac airport. Owned by the association since 1962, it combines high-level competitive sections with public racket-sports facilities. Padel is a major draw: six covered or semi-covered outdoor courts in the Dassault-Thales-Safran business park, alongside three indoor tennis courts, five badminton courts, renovated squash courts, a large fitness and weights area, and even real tennis (jeu de paume) in a dedicated hall. The campus feel — greenery within an aerospace district — suits corporate teams from neighbouring firms as much as local club players. Coach-led padel initiations and improvement sessions run for members who want structured progress.
Facilities
Annual association membership required for padel access: €20 card. Court hire €36 per hour (€9 per person in a four) or €48 for 90 minutes (€12 per person). Book via rocquevielle.com or the club booking app. Open Mon–Fri 09:00–21:00 (Tue until 22:30 on Google), Sat 09:00–13:30, closed Sunday. Phone +33 5 56 34 41 94. New real tennis court!
The Tennis Club Les Girondins is exceptional! Coach Michel is incredible, with extensive experience and a real sense of support. The courts are of very good quality, and the sports area is superb. The locker rooms are impeccable, and even the food is excellent. The welcome is always warm, which makes each visit even more enjoyable. A perfect place to play tennis and enjoy a quality setting!
Five racket sports are available in Roquevielle, especially Jeu de Paume! It's a sport and also a story. A magnificent hall and a very friendly club. A must-see! Turn right as soon as you enter the site.
Beautiful sports complex with a wide range of activities. The classes are taught by highly professional coaches and the equipment is top-notch. I recommend the Girondins Fitness section, which offers Les Mills classes and has a great weight room. Definitely worth a visit!
A fantastic multi-sport facility: team sports, racquet sports (padel, badminton, tennis), and group fitness and cardio training classes. A nice clubhouse where you can have a drink or a sandwich/salad. There's even a restaurant. After a trial session, you need to become a member, but the membership fee is very low (2 euros).
