Padel Evolution sits at 13 Boulevard Sagnat in Roche-la-Molière, a former industrial unit turned into a padel and pétanque hangout south of Saint-Étienne. Two indoor courts run under one roof with modern fittings, and the place has built a loyal local crowd since opening in 2022. Booking is per player — from €9 for an hour — and slots fill quickly because there are only two courts. Outside padel hours the site stays lively: a free pétanque strip, arcade machines and pinball, plus a bar terrace where regulars decompress after matches. Digicode entry from early morning lets groups play before work or late in the evening without waiting for staff.
Facilities
Court hire is priced per player, not per court: €9 for one hour, €12 for 90 minutes, or €16 for two hours. Reservations are made online through the club booking platform — advance booking is strongly advised given only two courts. Pétanque and the arcade area are free and open without reservation. No membership scheme is advertised on the website; the model is pay-as-you-play padel with complimentary access to the social spaces. A very nice and friendly place. There are two courts, so remember to book in advance. The post-padel area is pleasant, with a terrace and a pétanque court. I'll gladly come back.
