La Raquette Cayenne is the island tennis and padel club for Saint-Pierre-d'Oléron, tucked along Chemin Joë Martineau on the Atlantic side of Île d'Oléron. The FFT-affiliated association runs year-round, mixing holiday visitors with a tight local membership that fills the calendar with June animation weeks, friendly matches, and the kind of clubhouse atmosphere reviewers describe as warm and sociable. Two floodlit outdoor padel courts sit beside five tennis surfaces, and the whole site feels purpose-built for families: coaching from age three, competitions from age seven, and plenty of room for adults who want a casual hit between beach days. Ten'Up handles most bookings, though tourists still phone the Saint-Pierre tourist office when they want a court sorted before arrival.
Facilities
Annual memberships open access to unlimited court reservations on Ten'Up for adherents, while visitors hire padel lanes at twenty euros per hour or tennis from twelve to fifteen euros depending on indoor versus outdoor play. Five-hour court cards run forty-eight to sixty euros. Group lessons, holiday stages, Tennis Santé sessions, and FFT competitions are listed on the club Ten'Up page. The coaches are amazing, I love playing tennis there because there's such a great atmosphere. You get to meet and play with other players. The tennis coaches are attentive and lovely, especially when we're baking cakes 😂😉. Hugs to the team, and see you soon!
