Membership & Pricing

Ré Tennis Club has been part of Le Bois-Plage-en-Ré since 1984, welcoming tennis players of all levels year-round across two sites on Île de Ré. Padel arrived in June 2024 with two new outdoor courts at the Gros Jonc sports ground, set in pine woodland close to one of the island's best beaches. The location is sheltered from coastal wind, which makes outdoor play feel more comfortable than on exposed courts elsewhere. Bookings run through Ten'Up, and padel slots are typically 90 minutes. Members and visitors share the same facilities, from the clubhouse terrace to the on-site shop.

Facilities

Padel memberships for 2026 are listed on Ten'Up: adult padel-only €164, spouse or partner €114, under-18s €58. Combined tennis and padel adult membership costs €257 (spouse €217, youth €137). Membership includes court access, the mandatory FFT licence with insurance, and entry to team and individual competitions. Non-members can book hourly padel slots when space is available. Padel invitation tickets let members bring guests (€10 single, €50 for a book of five). Racket hire is offered on site for players who travel without gear.

A really nice club in the summer for playing tennis or padel. 👍🏼 Cafe, terrace, parking, ping-pong.

€16 to play for an hour on the court... I'd rather go to the free courts further away.

The prices are excessive; free play costs 16 euros for 1 hour...

Four tennis courts and two padel courts in the middle of the woods and close to the sea. Friendly welcome, lovely terrace for a drink after a game.

Excellent tennis club. The prices are reasonable considering the location, and the courts are well-maintained. In short, nothing to complain about.
