Tennis Club de Bordeaux is one of the Bordeaux metro's historic tennis institutions, set in parkland at Talence on Rue de Suzon rather than central Bordeaux city. With around 750 members and FFT affiliation, it runs a full clay and quick-court tennis programme plus two outdoor illuminated padel courts integrated into the same leafy site. The club added padel and pickleball to diversify beyond its traditional terre battue offer — a pragmatic move for a large suburban club serving families from Talence, Gradignan and Bordeaux sud. Google padel reviews praise clean courts and affordable hire with racket rental; other feedback flags patchy phone answering and a reception style that can feel old-school compared with newer commercial padel halls.
Facilities
Padel open to members and non-members. Non-members: €7 per person per hour without racket hire, €9 with rackets included. Members without own rackets: €2 per hour per person rental. Book padel up to four days ahead by phone (+33 5 33 48 93 69), online at tcbordeaux.com or in person 08:00–21:00; maximum two hours per booking. Annual adult membership from €380, students €195. Group padel courses from €300–360 per year. Open Mon–Fri 08:00–22:00, Sat 09:00–20:00, Sun 09:00–20:00 (Google); tariff page lists split Sunday hours.

We come here for the padel. The outdoor court is very clean, and ball and racket rentals are available. It's worth it :) Reservations can be made by phone.
We have tried contacting them several times using the number listed on the website. There is never an answer, and the pitches are always occupied. Not to mention the unpleasant reception we receive every time we speak with the gentleman; he is very rude, never saying hello or goodbye. I strongly advise against using this service.
A well-deserved star... The owner seems to have stepped straight out of the Middle Ages. He considers a sports bra indecent attire for playing in the blazing sun at 35 degrees Celsius. Cheap for playing padel, but you're better off paying more and getting a better welcome... keep walking!
Good facilities, nice clubhouse, but the welcome was deplorable during the 45+ championship. No coffee was offered before our matches (we had to ask for it, and the bar manager was kind enough to give it to us free of charge. The star is for him). No drinks were offered after our victories in the singles and doubles matches. We waited with our backs turned, then left. A shame.
Appalling welcome!!! The concierge showed absolutely no empathy towards our team. No coffee was offered, and some of our players didn't get a drink after the match. The dirt court was barely playable (holes right in the middle of the court). We'll come back, or maybe not, as far as a friendly atmosphere goes!
