Valserhône Tennis Padel is the reborn club of the Bassin Bellegardien, now housed in the Plaine des Sports d'Arlod beside the Rhône at Valserhône. The municipal complex opened in September 2024 after two years of building work, giving the Ain side of Grand Genève a regional-scale hall with spectator seating, a one-hundred-fifty-square-metre clubhouse, and two indoor padel courts paired with four indoor and four outdoor tennis lanes. The November 2024 rename reflects padel's place in a growing membership that already pushed the committee to hire extra staff. Players praise a bright reception bar and the relief of covered courts when Alpine weather turns wet or cold.
Facilities
Annual memberships and FFT licences are sold through Ten'Up under club number 50010052, with tennis school pathways for juniors and adult coaching on the combined campus. The club organises official FFT padel tournaments from P25 upward for ranked players. Growing demand in late 2024 led the committee to plan additional salaried cover; contact 04 50 48 54 77 for current fee sheets, school enrolment, and court-access rules for non-members.
