ASAV Tennis-Padel (Association Sportive Amicale de Vauzelles) is the main racket-sport club for Varennes-Vauzelles on the edge of Nevers in the Nièvre. Around 450 members and a volunteer team keep a busy calendar of internal events and friendly tournaments across six tennis courts, two outdoor padel courts and a beach-tennis court. State-qualified coaches Raphaël and Rosalie run lessons for all ages. The club house terrace with a covered pergola gives players and spectators a social space after matches. FFT Ten'Up lists year-round padel alongside tennis and beach tennis — a solid option if you want outdoor padel with evening lighting in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté.
Facilities
FFT-affiliated club with annual membership and court hire via Ten'Up. State-qualified coaches Raphaël and Rosalie for group and private lessons. Non-members can rent courts subject to club rules — contact the club if booking lines are busy, as some visitors report difficulty reaching staff by phone.

We wanted to book a padel court, but it has been impossible to contact the club for several days, at several different times.
A friendly, well-equipped, and structured club with 4 outdoor courts, 2 indoor courts, 2 padel courts, and a practice wall. An outdoor terrace with a covered pergola provides a new, comfortable space for spectators and players. The management team is dynamic and keeps the club vibrant with internal gatherings and friendly events for members.
I received a very warm welcome at the tournament. The tennis and padel facilities were in excellent condition. The atmosphere in the club was very friendly.
