Membership & Pricing

Tennis-Club Grün-Weiß Fulda is the largest and most member-heavy tennis club in eastern Hessen, founded in 1925 and set in the Fuldaauen recreation area on the southern edge of Fulda. In August 2025 the club opened Osthessen's first padel courts — three outdoor doubles pitches built at a cost of around three hundred sixty thousand euros after members kept asking about the sport they had tried on holiday in Spain. The padel zone sits alongside ten outdoor clay courts, three indoor granulate tennis halls and a practice wall on the Olympiastraße campus. Chairman Karsten Aßmann pitched padel as easy to learn and playable in groups of four, which fits the club's social character. The renovated clubhouse and large terrace overlook the whole site, and the Sicilian restaurant Ristorante Cilento draws non-players too. For Fulda residents who want padel without driving to the newer Padelzentrum in Eichenzell, Grün-Weiß remains the established address with decades of club infrastructure behind it.

Facilities

Annual membership fees range from free for children under ten through ninety-five euros for juniors to three hundred sixty euros for adults, with family packages at six hundred ninety-five euros. Members pay lower hall and court rates than guests across tennis; padel-specific membership tiers should be confirmed with the club as the sport is new for 2025. Winter and summer hourly hall tariffs and seasonal abonnements are published on the website. New members apply via the online Mitglied werden form. Passive membership costs sixty euros. The club fields thirty-three interclub teams and runs a full tennis school. Padel enquiries can be directed to the main club email or telephone.

Fantastic tennis club! The facilities are modern and very well maintained. There are three indoor courts and three padel courts. The electronic reservation system is incredibly convenient and makes booking easy. There's also the Italian restaurant "Cilento," which offers delicious food. Highly recommended!

The club in Friedrichshafen and the surrounding area! A fantastic tennis facility in an idyllic location, with 10 well-maintained outdoor clay courts, 2 of which have had LED floodlights since September 2023, and a lovely club terrace for relaxing. The 3 indoor courts (carpet and artificial turf) are also very playable, with excellent LED lighting! A spacious clubhouse offers good public dining (Italian [Sicilian]).

The restaurant looks very appealing. The service was polite and attentive. The wait was a bit long. The food was really freshly prepared, the schnitzel was freshly pounded. The portion size was good, and the price-performance ratio was good. We enjoyed our meal very much. The schnitzel dishes are recommended. There could have been more and larger mushrooms in the sauce. There could have been cushions on the chairs on the terrace. The first-aid station was adequate.

The club building houses an Italian restaurant with a lovely terrace overlooking the tennis club's courts, which looks very well-maintained. The restrooms are very clean, and you can see that the club is well-run. The food at the Sicilian restaurant was very delicious. The menu is very concise.

Everyone has been incredibly lovely, friendly, and helpful so far. I feel comfortable. The seats are okay, although the ones against the concrete wall aren't so great anymore. The hall is pleasant. It's very busy, which I also like a lot.
