TC Hungen 1975 e.V. added padel to its Am Grassee sports ground in 2025, opening the first padel court in the Kreis Gießen area just in time for the club's fiftieth birthday. The court sits next to three clay tennis courts and a hard court behind the Hungener Stadthalle. Padel here is deliberately low-threshold: the rules are easy to pick up, rackets are available to borrow, and guests can book without being tennis members. Entry is contactless through the Airkey app once your slot is confirmed online. The club runs Schnupperkurse for beginners and folds padel into its summer club championship alongside the tennis events.
Facilities
Reserve the padel court through the club booking app alongside tennis slots. Full membership opens the wider club programme including teams, training, and member pricing. Non-members can book as guests during published guest hours and receive Airkey credentials by email after payment. Periodic Schnupperkurse introduce the sport to newcomers.
